AI-CardioCare: Artificial Intelligence Based Device for Cardiac Health Monitoring

Cardiac disorders are one of the leading causes mortality around globe and early diagnosis heart diseases can be beneficial for its mitigation. In this article, an artificial intelligence (AI) based device has been proposed, which allows automatic real-time cardiac on deep learning techniques. The sound (phonocardiogram) signal is acquired by a customized designed stethoscope processed before analysis using AI methods classification four major (Aortic Stenosis, Mitral Regurgitation, Valve Prolapse). Two learning-based neural networks, one-dimensional (1-D) convolutional network (CNN) spectrogram 2-D-CNN models from these signals integrated with low-cost single-board processor to make standalone device. All data processing done in single hardware setup user interface provided allowing control accessibility visibility generate diagnostic report. As result, developed demonstrated valuable tool both medical professionals personal usage at home.
